Ephesians 4:29
It is important to let others know you respect your husband for his positive qualities. Find a way to let his family or yours know about the good things you enjoy about him. Be creative. Work it into a phone conversation or letter. If you want, even write a thank-you note to his parents for raising him the way they did. (I know this may not be as easy for you as it is for me, because my in-laws are great godly people who are good parents. If this is not your situation, just try to focus on the positive things they did do in your letter.) Don't complain to others about him, especially your own family! This causes unneeded drama.
